Parking and Access
Please note that the neighboring Prospector Theater is still under construction and access from Prospect Street to the lower lot on our shared campus will be restricted until their opening, anticipated in July.

Library Hours
Monday through Thursday, 9 AM to 7 PM
Friday and Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Sunday 1-5
(closed summer Sundays)

The Library is approximately 8 miles south of Danbury, CT; 13 miles east of Katonah, NY; and 8 miles north of Wilton, CT.

From the North:

  • Take I-84 to Exit 3.
  • Head South on Route 7
  • Go right onto Route 35 and continue for approximately 4 miles.
  • Turn left on Route 35, which becomes Main Street
  • As you enter the historic center of Ridgefield, the Library's parking will be the last left before the stoplight at Prospect Street and is across from Ballard Park.

From Fairfield County and Points South:

  • Take Route 7 North in Wilton.
  • Take a left on Route 102
  • Turn right onto Route 35 (Main Street)..
  • Go past the first stop light (at Prospect Street) and take your first right off Main Street into the Library's parking lot.

From Westchester County:

  • Take 684 to the Katonah/Route 35 exit.
  • Take Route 35 heading east toward Ridgefield (12 miles).
  • Follow route 35.  Go left at the fountain in Ridgefield continuing on Route 35 / Main Street
  • Continue through the center of town.  Go past the third stoplight at Prospect Street and take your first right into the Library parking lot.
