Children's Programs

It's beginning to look a lot like spring, and we have some wonderful programs coming up
in the Lodewick Children's Library next month! There's something for everyone, from book clubs to
arts & crafts. Sign-up for registered programs begins April 1st. Join us!

A few things you should know about our children's program procedures:

  • Preference for registration for programs with limited capacity will be given to Ridgefield residents.  If space allows, non-residents are welcome to participate.
  • Parents of children under age 6 must remain in the Lodewick Children’s Library during the time their child is in a program.
  • From time to time, photos and video may be taken of children’s programs for use in Library publicity and documentation, including on our website and social media.  If you prefer not to have your child’s image used, please notify a staff member.
  • The Library makes weather closing and program cancellation decisions independently of the schools or town agencies.
    See our full policy here.
