Children's Programs

Ready for the holidays? We certainly are, and we have some awesome activities to join in on here in
the Lodewick Children's Library! Attend a Let It Snow storytime, join our graphic novel book club,
get ready for holiday baking with our Makerbot Cookie Cutter Workshop, and much more!
Registration for all registered January programs begins December 1st. Come join us!

A few things you should know about our children's program procedures:

  • Preference for registration for programs with limited capacity will be given to Ridgefield residents.  If space allows, non-residents are welcome to participate.
  • Programs for children with an adult require/encourage/request participation from both child and adult.
  • Parents of children under age 6 must remain in the Lodewick Children’s Library during the time their child is in a program. Parents of children aged 6-11 are requested to remain in the building during their child's program.
  • From time to time, photos and video may be taken of children’s programs for use in Library publicity and documentation, including on our website and social media.  If you prefer not to have your child’s image used, please notify a staff member.
  • The Library makes weather closing and program cancellation decisions independently of the schools or town agencies.
    See our full policy here.
