Summer Reading @ the Library

June 23 - August 9, 2014

We have activities for children, teens and adults, so make Summer Reading a family affair!  You can record your reading from home, office or on the road, using our convenient online reading log software, and enjoy many great programs for all ages.

The online reading log pages is open for use starting on Monday, June 23rd. Feel free to start reading, but please wait until then to record your entries.

 Pre-School Summer Reading Program


New this year to the Ridgefield Library: our Pre-School Summer Reading Program for children ages 2-5.  Visit the Children's Library starting June 23rd and pick up a book log/activity sheet. When the log is completed, pre-schoolers earn a nursery rhyme coloring book. Find out more.

Children's Summer Reading Program


For kids going into Kindergarten through Grade 5. Read a book; have someone read a book
to you; listen to an audiobook and then log your reading online! We'll reward you for all your hard work! Find out more.

Teen Summer Reading Program


For students going into grades 6 through 12; read stuff, get stuff. Read books, listen to
audiobooks, read magazines, read   comics, just read!  Track what you read and earn prizes
and raffle tickets. We also have fun programs for you to attend. Find out more.

Adult Summer Reading Program


For adults of all ages!

Share book suggestions and find out what others are reading. Read a book or listen to an audiobook, and enter the raffle for one of our weekly prizes. Attend a program or workshop and Discover... the Ridgefield Library!  Find out more.
