June 6th @ 4PM:  Read the book, watch the film, and join the conversation about Jon Meacham’s thought-provoking and timely work, The Soul of America: The Battle for Our Better Angels.  On Sunday, June 6th at 4:00PM, join us for an online screening of the documentary film The Soul of America, to be followed by a community conversation of the topics and themes raised by both the film and by Meacham’s book, moderated by Assistant Library Director Andy Forsyth and Adult Services Librarian Barrett Jones. The film screening is made possible thanks to the Kunhardt Film Foundation. You do not need to have read the book to view the film and participate in the discussion on June 6th.

Participants may view the film ahead of time or view it “together” at 4 PM, right before the panel discussion. The relevant links will be sent once you register for the program.  View the trailer here.
