The Ridgefield Library processes passports. All applicants must appear in person, including children. We DO NOT take photos at the Library. You can get photos made at CVS, the UPS Store, and Walgreens in Ridgefield.

The Basics

If this is a first-time passport, you must apply in person. See items below to bring to the appointment.

You must renew in person if:

  • you were 15 or younger when your most recent passport was issued
  • your Passport was issued more than 15 years ago

If your last passport was a 10-year passport and it has not been expired for more than five years, please use the renewal form DS-82 and follow directions to send to the Passport Services address. Renewal forms may be downloaded at  travel.state.gov or picked up at the Post Office or the Library’s Circulation Desk. All other forms (DS-11DS-3053, etc.) can be downloaded at travel.state.gov.
