Job search and career resources are located in the Business collection near the Adult Services Desk on the Upper Level in the Ridgefield Library. We focus on acquiring an up-to-date collection of the best resources on job search, resumes, cover letters, and interviewing, as well as resources on careers, career change, and entrepreneurship.
In addition, the Business collection covers all work-related topics, such as LinkedIn and social media, productivity and time management, presentations, public speaking, management and leadership, marketing, accounting, human resources, performance reviews, and much more.

Library Services for Job Seekers
Computers: Public workstations with black & white and color printers and popular personal productivity software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint).
Internet Access: Public workstations with high-speed access to the Internet.
Desktop Publishing Software: When paired with our color scanner, perfect for creating brochures and other promotional materials.
Fax Machine and Color Scanner: Outgoing fax service only. Easy to use. $1 per page for faxing; no charge for scanning to file or e-mail.
Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi network available throughout the building. Bring your wireless-ready laptop or mobile device and log on to the Library network. Wireless printing also available.
Photocopiers: Our copy machines can collate, duplex, and copy up to size 11 x 17. Sorry, black and white only. Twenty cents per page.
Inter-Library Loan Service: Books and other materials not in our collection may be obtained from libraries around the country; small copying fee for articles may be charged by the lending institution.

Study Rooms: Study rooms may be used for private work, phone interviews, or small meetings. Same day study room use is based on availability. Reservations are recommended for phone interviews and meetings.
