How to get a Library Card
Ridgefield Residents
- Fill out this form online or visit the Circulation Desk on the Main Level of the Library
- Bring proof of Ridgefield residency which must include your Ridgefield address: For example, ID, utility bill, house closing papers
- Children birth-age 17 are invited to get their own cards
- Show proof of Ridgefield residency
- Signature of a parent or legal guardian
Residents from Other Connecticut Towns
- Through the Connecticut State borrowIT CT program, you are able to borrow physical items from the Ridgefield Library using your hometown Library Card.
- Bring in your ID and your hometown Library Card.
Out-of-State Residents
- Ridgefield Library offers an out-of-state Family Library card that affords your family the same privileges as a Ridgefield Resident Card.
- Annual cost of $100 (effective March 1, 2026)
