Program Sponsors
- Friends of Ridgefield Library – The Friends of the Ridgefield Library is a key partner in nearly every aspect of the Library. Their financial and volunteer support makes possible many of our most popular offerings, such as the annual Summer Reading Program and the Ridgefield Folk concert series.
- Donofrio – The Donofrio family provides funding for our Making STEAM initiative, which includes educational programs that aim to encourage young people, especially girls and minorities, to pursue careers in engineering, science, and technology.
- RLAM5K – RLAM5K generously donates its sponsorship money to the Library’s Noreen L. Papa – Mothers: Live Your Life series, which helps provide programming and other Library resources to encourage health and wellness.
Community Partners
Parenting the #Selfie Generation
Parenting the #Selfie Generation: Resilience for Life is a community-wide series of parenting programs and events. The series is presented by Ridgefield Public Schools, Ridgefield Council of PTAs, the Ridgefield Youth Commission, Books on the Common, Project Resilience and Silver Hill Hospital.
Ridgefield Cultural District
Ridgefield is the first town in the State to receive the designation of having a “Cultural District.” The Cultural District has an expansive yet walkable downtown area with many exceptional cultural wonders, both for profit and nonprofit.
The Ridgefield Library is within the designated Cultural District.
Ridgefield Independent Film Festival
The Library is a venue for the annual Ridgefield Independent Film Festival.The Ridgefield Guild of ArtistsThe Ridgefield Guild of Artists co-sponsors the Library’s ARTalk series, a series of art, architecture, and design lectures, workshops, and art field trips. The Library serves as a host site for exhibiting artists during the annual ART Walk each summer.
