The Ridgefield Library is thrilled to announce that long-time staff member John Casiello will be the Library’s new Assistant Library Director. John has been sharing his many talents with our community and our Library for over 30 years, starting as a teen-age Page and for the past 6+ years serving as our Collection Management Department Head. John is also known for his work on the statewide level with the CT Library Association, as Chair of Outreach and Awards. A Ridgefield High School graduate, John has a B.A. in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University and a Masters of Library and Information Science from Syracuse University. We are fortunate to have John’s thoughtful and collaborative leadership as well as his professional expertise and deep institutional and community knowledge in this important position.
