Internet & Workstation Use Policy

Printing, Copying, Scanning & Faxing

Printing

Printing is available from all public computers. Black & white print jobs are 20 cents per page and color print jobs are 50 cents per page.

Copying

Copiers for public use are located in the Bossidy Commons near the elevator and on the Upper Level near the public computers. Copies cost 20 cents per page.

Scanning & Faxing

A document station offering color scanning and an outgoing fax service is located on the Upper Level near the public computers. There is no charge for scanning. Outgoing faxes cost $1.00 per page, payable at the Adult Services Desk in cash or check only. There is no incoming fax service.

Checking Out & Returning Materials

Self-Check Kiosks

Check out materials quickly and easily using your Ridgefield Library card at one of three self-check kiosks, located in the Bossidy Commons, the Lodewick Children’s Library and on the Upper Level near the Morris Building.

24/7 Returns

Return materials 24/7 all year round through the Library’s Automated Materials Handling System (AMHS). Items returned through the AMHS are immediately checked in and sorted for re-shelving. Over 2.25 million items have been returned through the Ridgefield Library’s AMHS since its inception in 2014.
