In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary the Ridgefield Library and the Ridgefield Guild of Artists invite you to join us in creating a Community Flag to be installed on the Lower Level of the Library.
Individual canvases will become a united flag installation!
- Sign out a 10 x 8 canvas (work must be submitted on this canvas)
- One canvas per person, available while supplies last
- Create your unique interpretation of the American Flag (horizontal only) with a 2D painting, photography, drawing or collage
- Artwork must meet appropriate community standards and be suitable for all ages
- Open to Ridgefielders of all ages with an artistic flair!
- Pick up your canvas at the Library Circulation Desk, 472 Main Street or Ridgefield Guild of Artists, 34 Halpin Lane
Finished works due back by Monday, June 1st

Join us for an Artists’ Reception on Saturday, June 27th from 2:00-4:00pm for the unveiling of our “Community Flag” on the Lower Level of the Library featuring refreshments and Americana music by Ryan Mitten. All are welcome!
